It’s not what happens to us that impacts us the most, it’s how we choose to react and respond

FAQs

Is a Life Coach the same as a Therapist?

In short, no. Therapists see clients who are functioning below baseline. (We all have a baseline of functioning) They give a diagnosis and help clients get back to the baseline. A Life Coach does not give a diagnosis, and typically helps clients who are currently at the baseline but want to be above the baseline. A Therapist will also focus on the past whilst a Life Coach focuses on the future.

My sessions are goal orientated. I focus on your future self and who you want to become. I’ll help identify limiting beliefs & perspectives, find out why they are there and help create new insight and way of thinking. You’ll achieve independence in a healthy way. Becoming dependent on your Coach is not the purpose of Coaching.

What will my future look like?

The earlier we learn how to deal with life problems, the fewer they’ll be in the future. You’ll be able to focus on things that light you up instead of things that drag you down. You’ll have a much more positive outlook on life, live freely + confidently and be self-aware and aware of others around you. Click here, for more information

Why would someone need a life coach?

“Everyone needs a coach. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a basketball player, a tennis player, a gymnast or a bridge player”- Bill Gates

A Life Coach is a third party source who you can trust. They will give you an unbiased, neutral and ultimately wise answer when it comes to difficult and personal life questions. As a trained Life Coach, I extract what is it the client wants to do (the goal) then encourage and guide them through the process.

Do you need a qualification to become a Life Coach?

Coaching is currently an unregulated industry however I am a Certified Life Coach. I obtained my Life Coaching certificate through The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. I am passionate about serving young girls who are battling through stressful times during High School (Important growing stage of adolescence) and I have an unwavering commitment to helping them achieve their goals so they can thrive in life.

When will I see the effect and results of coaching?

The client will gain clarity after each session and leave with a clear goal however the outcome is ultimately in the client’s hands. The client has to want to change as well. They are responsible for showing up for themselves and taking on board the new information and creating the positive changes in their life. It takes time to form new habits and change mindset but consistency is key. Results can vary between each individual, for most clients I recommend 8-12 sessions.
